"Cherry Orchard Waltz"   and    "Down in the Old Cherry Orchard"

I first heard the "Cherry Orchard Waltz" fiddled at the NOTSBA's 2016 Breaking Up Winter festival. A couple from Missouri fiddled it, and again in 2017. Later they sent me a recording of Vesta Johnson fiddling it without accompaniment.

I found a transcript of a similar tune with the secondary title "Down in the Old Cherry Orchard" on-line from the Oregon group OOTFA.   Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers' Association    This version offers a few variations on the melody. It also claims the song was written in 1907.

A recording of W.T. (Tuce) Jernigan singing the song "Down by the Old Cherry Orchard" a-capella is avaliable at Down by the Old Cherry Orchard as part of a collection of Ozark Folk song collection by John Quincy Wolf.

The University of Illinois at Chicago has a Sheet Music Collection that includes sheet music credited to Composer: S.R. Henry, Lyricist: Alfred Bryan, Publisher: Jos. W. Stern and Co. dated 1907.   Down in the Old Cherry Orchard
This has two parts, the second 3/4 time part formed the basis of my transcription.
